Weekend Schedule
Who is invited to the welcome party?
Everyone attending the wedding is invited to join us at the Welcome Party! This is our way of saying thank you for coming to celebrate with us, and we’d love to kick off the weekend together.
When and where is the welcome party?
The Welcome Party will be on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. The venue is still being finalized, and we’ll share details closer to the date.
What is the dress code for the welcome party?
Think smart casual. No need for formal attire. Just come ready to relax, mingle, and enjoy.
What about Saturday?
Saturday, March 21, 2026, is a free day! Feel free to explore Panama City, take a day trip, or relax by the pool.
When is the wedding ceremony?
The wedding ceremony will take place on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. sharp in the ballroom of the W Panama Hotel. Guests will be allowed to enter and be seated starting at 4:00 p.m. Doors will close promptly at 4:45 p.m., and late entry will not be permitted until after the ceremony concludes.
What happens after the ceremony?
Immediately following the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour, followed by dinner and dancing. The celebration will continue until midnight, so get ready for a night of good food, music, and fun!
What is the dress code for the wedding?
This is a Black Tie Affair. Ladies are encouraged to wear gowns or elevated cocktail dresses, and gentlemen should wear tuxedos or formal suits. That said, this will be a night of dancing, celebration, and fun, so come dressed to impress, but ready to party (no stiff vibes!).
Do I have to wear black for black tie?
Not at all! Black tie is about the level of formality, not the color. Ladies can wear gowns or elevated cocktail dresses in any color, and gentlemen should wear tuxedos or formal suits.
Can I bring a guest to the wedding festivities?
Your invitation will specify if you have a plus one. Due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!
Are kids allowed at any of the wedding festivities?
No kids, please! Our wedding weekend will be an adults-only celebration. We love your little ones, but we want all of our guests to be able to relax and enjoy the festivities.
Travel & Stay
When should I book my flights?
We recommend booking your flights as soon as possible to secure the best rates.
Which airport should I fly into?
You should book flights into Tocumen International Airport (PTY) in Panama City.
What’s the best way to get to Panama?
Most guests will fly from Nassau or Miami. Copa Airlines offers a direct Nassau–Panama City flight, and Miami has about 5 daily direct flights into Panama City, making it a convenient option.
How far is the airport from the hotel?
Tocumen International Airport is approximately 30–35 minutes from the W Panama Hotel, depending on traffic.
What transportation options are available from the airport?
Uber is widely available and often the easiest, most affordable way to get to the W Panama Hotel (about 30–35 minutes away). If you’d prefer hotel-arranged transportation, you’ll need to book it directly with the W Panama, and please note it may cost more.
How do I get around Panama City?
Uber is the safest and most convenient option for getting around the city. It’s reliable, inexpensive, and works well for most places you’ll want to visit.
Entry & Documents
Do I need a visa to travel?
Bahamian citizens do not need a visa to enter Panama. However, if you cannot travel to the U.S. due to legal issues or prior convictions, entry into Panama may likely be denied. Please check your status and eligibility ahead of time to avoid any complications, as Panama reserves the right to deny entry.
What documents do I need to enter Panama?
You will need a valid passport with at least six months remaining before expiration, along with proof of onward or return travel.
Copa Airlines
Does Copa Airlines fly directly from Nassau to Panama?
Yes. Copa Airlines offers direct flights from Nassau (NAS) to Panama City (PTY).
What days does Copa Airlines offer direct flights?
Flight days and times can change, so please check Copa Airlines for the latest schedule.
What time is the Nassau–Panama flight?
The flight usually departs Nassau at 12:34 p.m. and arrives in Panama at 2:34 p.m.
What time is the Panama–Nassau return flight?
The return flight typically departs Panama at 7:33 a.m. and arrives in Nassau at 11:00 a.m. (local time).
Is my seat guaranteed once I buy a ticket?
Not until you check in. Copa sometimes oversells flights, so your seat is only confirmed once you complete check-in.
How do I make sure I don’t lose my seat?
Check in online exactly 24 hours before your flight. Do not wait until later within that 24-hour window, as seats can fill quickly.
What time should I arrive at the airport?
Please arrive at least 3 hours before departure to ensure a smooth check-in and boarding process.
What if Copa’s schedule doesn’t work for me?
If Copa’s direct schedule doesn’t fit your plans, you can also fly via Miami, which has multiple daily flights to Panama.
Can I extend my trip beyond Panama?
Yes! With our special group rate available March 17–26, 2026, you can enjoy Panama before or after the wedding, or continue onward to other South American destinations.
